With over 35 years of teaching experience, Vivian is dedicated to nurturing each pianist’s unique abilities and musical journey. As Artist Faculty for the Juilliard K-12 Department and Piano Department Lead for Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard, she draws on her professional background to offer thoughtul, personalized instruction tailored to each student.

At The Chevy Chase studio, pianists play and learn on the Steinway B and Steinway M grand pianos and have 5 performance opportunities each academic year, all included with tuition.
Pianists regularly participate in student concerts and peer sharing sessions, building confidence and learning from each other’s progress. Families receive weekly progress reports and full access to the studio's online music library. Ongoing guidance and encouragement ensures every student feels supported throughout their musical development.
Vivian is a member of the National Piano Guild - American College of Musicians and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
