Dear Friends of Adamant Music School,

In 2024, I sent one of my students to Adamant Music School and it changed his life. In the remote, rustic setting, knowing no one at first, he felt unsettled. But the charm of the grounds, the warmth of the community, and the power of music soon turned his unease into connection. By the program’s end, he didn’t want to leave. This was my first introduction to Adamant Music School and it captivated me.

As I came to know Adamant Music School, I saw how my experience developing programs could help it thrive. From my first moments on campus — wandering among piano cabins, hearing waterfalls mingle with music, and sharing conversations over family‑style dinners — I was sold. Adamant Music School is a rare paradise where world‑class music blooms in the heart of the woods.

This summer, our campus became a true home for artistry and connection. Welcoming two Cliburn medalists as Artists in Residence, along with an internationally renowned faculty, we offered performance opportunities nearly every day and gathered pianists ranging in age from 15 to 95, from across the nation and around the globe. During our time together, our school was more than a place to study—it was a community where borders, politics, and differences faded away, replaced by genuine friendship, collaboration, and the joy of making music together.

Looking to Summer 2026, I am excited to build on the momentum of this past summer - expanding opportunities while preserving the traditions and spirit that make Adamant Music School so beloved. Together, we will nurture this community where music, connection, and inspiration flourish for generations to come.

With gratitude and anticipation,

Vivian Chang, Program Director
