Going out with the grownups!

Dear Students and Friends,
I am so excited to be venturing out with you to hear some great music in the coming months! Please let me know of your interest and availability for the following concerts:
1) Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 1PM @ Alice Tully Hall in NYC
This is a free chamber music concert featuring the Ravel Piano Trio and the Schumann Piano Quintet, two of the finest most beautiful piano works with strings. Alice Tully Hall is a major NY concert venue and the performers showcased are top students at the Juilliard School.
2) Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 8:30PM @ Jalopy Theater in Brooklyn
My friend and violinist/author Sasha Margolis is performing with his Klezmer Band, Big Galut(e) on the NY Klezmer Series. I understand there may also be dancing led by an instructor. The evening promises to be a very entertaining and special experience! Also, for anyone wanting to learn more about Russian Jewish life in the late 19th century via an entertaining story, Sasha's book "The Tsimbalist" is a fabulous, funny and touching read. You can learn more about and order his book here.
3) Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 1:30PM @ Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY
Guitarist David Leisner and Baritone Michael Kelly perform Schubert's "Die Schoene Muellerin". Originally scored for piano and singer, this hour-long song cycle brings us along a man's psychological journey from love to despair and will be performed on guitar with voice. David Leisner is a superb artist and has performed with Chameleon Arts Ensemble, a chamber group in Boston of which I'm a member. What an amazing opportunity to hear him locally!
Looking forward to our outings together and see you soon at our lessons.
