KADEN LARSON
OFFERINGS:
Kaden Larson began playing piano at age three as a therapeutic activity to help fight a severely crippling case of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. What began as a trial soon became a triumph. An avid recitalist, Kaden regularly performs throughout his home state of Utah, and has performed throughout the United States and Europe. Through music, he seeks to promote faith, compassion, beauty, and a greater appreciation for life’s joys and struggles.
Kaden earned his BM from Brigham Young University studying with Dr. Scott Holden, his MM from the Jacobs School of Music studying with Norman Krieger, and continues as a doctoral student of Professor Krieger. Also active as a collaborative pianist, organist, composer/arranger, and passionate teacher, Kaden is a frequent presenter at piano pedagogy conferences, and a founding member of the Ensign Piano Quartet and the consonari ensemble project. When he's not locked away in a practice room, Kaden enjoys skiing, hiking, and generally breaking the fourth wall. He and his wife Anna are happily employed as domestic help for a benevolent orange tabby named Apollo.
